Shalana Clark moved to Oregon in 1999 and has built strong connections within the local communities through a variety of professional roles, gaining valuable experience in customer service, community relations, and public service. Her children were raised in the two communities and graduated from their local schools, strengthening her personal commitment to the area. Shalana has worked for the Rainier School District since 2005 and has served as the School Board Secretary since 2021. This role has provided her with valuable knowledge and experience in Oregon Public Meetings Law, Robert's Rules of Order, public budgeting, business operations, and organizational governance. As the Rainier Cemetery District's Board Secretary, Shalana is dedicated to improving the District's operations through transparency, accountability, compassion, and care. She believes in honoring the communities we serve by ensuring the District operates efficiently, responsibly, and with the respect every family deserves. Her goal is simple: to help the Rainier Cemetery District operate at its very best while faithfully serving both communities with integrity, dignity, and care.
