FT Maintenance Employee - Wanted
HELP WANTED – Rainier Cemetery District. Rainier, Oregon.
Rainier Cemetery District is seeking one full-time maintenance employee to assist in efficiently maintaining 12 cemeteries ensuring that they are kept well landscaped, safe for the community and clean while conducting all work with safety as a priority. Starting pay is $18.00 - $23.00/hr DOE
Job duties include:
- Ability to safely operate a commercial lawnmower, backhoe, trimmer, pole saw, blower and UTV
- Ability to provide basic level service/maintenance of the above-mentioned equipment
- Assisting the Sexton in burials according to District and State of Oregon laws.
- Ability to conduct business with the public and professionals (Mortuary’s, Contractor’s, City Officials, etc.) in a professional manner in the absence of the Sexton as directed
- Regularly use district vehicles, load, haul and back up a trailer full of equipment
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Dependable, hardworking, and self-motivated
- Experience operating lawn equipment
- Must have valid state driver’s license
